New Appointment Further Increases Labels Expertise at Boxes Ditone

Boxes Ditone, the innovative labels designer and manufacturer, is looking to capitalise on its latest product developments and explore new market opportunities with the appointment of Terry Nicholson as Business Development Manager for the North of England, to meet the Company’s objectives for 2000.

Nicholson brings to Boxes Ditone 24 years of experience in the label industry and joins the Company from Label Converters, where he was Northern Area Sales Manager. Nicholson’s long career in the industry has also encompassed technical development, marketing, quality assurance and estimating.

Part of specialist packaging company The Boxes Group, Boxes Ditone is currently expanding a niche sector of its business after achieving the pharmaceutical’s most exacting standards for suppliers - the Pharmaceutical Supplier Code of Practice for non contact packaging.

Following his appointment, Nicholson, who also has experience of the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, said: "Boxes Ditone is a very progressive company with a reputation for always pushing out the boundaries of label construction and printing technology. My background and experience will enable me to utilise Ditone’s expertise ensuring our customers receive the best possible solution to their label requirements."

Situated at Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire and one of seven companies in the £35m turnover Group, Boxes Ditone is growing its market share of the pharmaceutical labels business while further developing its expertise in label construction, adhesives and print processes for a broad range of other industries.

The Company offers a range of printing facilities including letterpress, rotary screen, UV and conventional flexographic and hot foil. The purpose-built premises also allow for high volume as well as small to medium runs and the production layout enables a fast and efficient service for customers.
