The Boxes Group, an expanding division of international printing and packaging Group Clondalkin, has secured yet another world famous brand name to add to its rollcall of prestigious customers.

Boxes GH, one of seven specialist companies in the Group and a major producer of high quality folding cartons for the FMCG market, has won its first contract with Tate & Lyle Europe.

The UK¹s sole cane sugar refiner, which handles over one million tonnes of cane sugar a year at Silvertown, London, has awarded Boxes GH an exclusive two year contract to supply all the Company¹s cartons. The two companies are also discussing working together on further projects.

David Williams, Senior Buyer for Tate & Lyle Europe, said: “We purchase about seven million cartons a year and were seeking a carton producer which provided a high quality, consistent performance at a commercially attractive price. Our team visited the Boxes GH plant for a full technical and commercial audit and the company passed with flying colours. We were also impressed by the high calibre of customers in the Boxes GH portfolio.”
