Lyle Selects The Boxes Group for New Product
Range
Lyle's Coffee Syrup Selections, a new product containing a variety of
coffee flavourings in 20 x 10ml single-serve sachets, is being
packaged in a stylish presentation carton by The Boxes Group.
The carton has been designed with a flip top opening to
allow consumers easy access to the sachets and easy re-closure. The
carton is produced in six colour Offset Litho with a gloss finish on
400um White Lined Chipboard. For transit and in-store display, a two
colour tray was designed and produced on Microflute.

Group Business Development Manager, Chris Fuller, said: "Our decision
to use Microflute material eliminated the need for a corrugated outer
case for transit purposes reducing cost and wastage. Known as SRP,
(Shelf Ready Product), this pack enables the retailer easy shelf
loading in-store. As we are able to print directly onto Microflute the
graphics on the tray were easily matched to the design incorporated on
the cartons."
Lyle's Franchise Development Manager, Alison Ashman, added: "We
launched our new Selections packs with a three-fold objective; to
provide consumers with more choice, pack convenience and ease of use;
promote consumer trial of other flavours in the range and to encourage
trading-up into the full size 375ml bottles to drive sales and grow
the brand."
The Boxes Group comprises eight specialist companies
majoring in product presentation across a wide range of fields.
The business operates from four sites throughout the UK
and there are two companies in The Netherlands and one in Poland. The
