Ditone
introduces new Fasson label concept with exciting promotional
opportunities for the beverage market
Ditone
Labels, one of Europe’s most progressive label manufacturers, is
working with leading self-adhesive labelstock supplier Avery Dennison
Fasson Roll Europe on an innovative product with unique promotional
appeal for the worldwide brewing and beverages industry.
The two companies have combined their strong creative talents to
produce a self-adhesive label concept with the novel quality of
keeping hands warm when holding ice-cold bottled beer – or keeping
hands cool, around hot drinks. The
secret of these extra functions is the special Ditone labelstock,
DiFoam – sourced for Ditone by the Avery Dennison Fasson Select
speciality labelstock team.
Says Ditone Labels’ Managing Director, David Stevenson:
“This exciting new concept will add real shelf presence to a
brand. Apart from its unique thermal properties, DiFoam is textured so
it doesn¹t slip from the grasp.
Laminated with a removable adhesive, it could also be removed
in one piece to be used as a coaster or part of a promotion where the
customer saves a number of labels towards a free bottle. We can print
DiFoam to any specification, by any available print process, in any
number of colours, and with additional features such as hot foil
blocking.”
Paul
Brundrett of the Fasson Select team, who worked with Ditone Labels to
develop the concept, adds: “Ditone
have certainly spotted a great marketing opportunity with this label
concept – and it’s an ideal partner for their state-of-the-art
printing and converting technology.
DiFoam features a really unusual face material, with a unique
and tactile aesthetic quality that is ideally suited to today’s
fashion drinks.”
