Prestige has the Gift says Avon Boxes Prestige,
manufacturers of high quality printed cartons and part of international printing and
packaging products group Clondalkin plc, has won the highest honour for business
excellence awarded by cosmetics giant, Avon.
The Northamptonshire-based company, with a national
reputation for its specialist skills in manufacturing innovative, creative cartons for the
luxury goods market, was selected for the accolade by Avon at the multinationals
annual awards ceremony, in Buchen, Austria. It was the fourth time that Boxes Prestige has
won the Business Excellence category.
The Companys Managing Director, Peter Burgess, who
received the honour on behalf of employees, said the achievement underlined the total
professionalism that Boxes Prestige gives to its customers. "All aspects of our
service are tailored to not only meeting but surpassing customer needs. We are delighted
to win this award four times and will strive to improve our standards even further,"
he said.
Jaynette Kightley-Green, Avons Senior Purchasing Agent,
added: "The key to being a truly excellent supplier is flexibility to a market
demanding exceptional quality, superior technical innovation, superb service and optimum
competitive pricing.
"Boxes Prestige has displayed all these qualities during
the last year recording a virtually 100 per cent acceptance rate and 100 per cent on time
deliveries against a massive 1,619 receipts. The Company always goes that extra
mile.
Clients of Boxes Prestige include Procter & Gamble, Marks
and Spencer, Crabtree and Evelyn and retail supplier Peter Black.
Last year Boxes Prestige, in Earls Barton, increased its
turnover with Avon by 40 per cent. The two companies have worked together for 20 years.
The Company is one of seven in The Boxes Group, each of which has developed a range of
skills and expertise in specific areas of the packaging materials business.
The Boxes Group is part of the 513m euro turnover Clondalkin
Group, specialising in printing and packaging products, which operates across the US and
Europe, has over 50 subsidiary companies and employs more than 3,500 people.
