Ditone, Europe’s most progressive label manufacturer, is helping new
customer Meridian Beers, in association with Island Drinks S.L.,
launch into the Spanish beverage sector with a dynamic new range of
flavoured alcoholic beverages targetted at young adults on holiday.
Vodka 69 - in five flavours: Choco Minted, Loganberry, Passion
Fruit, Blueberry and Vanilla - is to be sold initially in bars and
clubs in Spanish resorts.
Ditone, the rapidly expanding division of The Boxes Group, is
supplying all the labels for the variants. There are two labels per
bottle; one for the front of Vodka 69 and the other around the neck.
Each label is printed in two colours, the variant and black.
The cleverly designed labels are produced with a subtle half-tone
background illustration and strong colour graphics for high shelf
impact. The brand identity is bordered with careful shading to give
the illusion of a reflective foil finish. The labels carry an
excellent high gloss finish that creates an upmarket filmic look.
Terry Ashton, of Meridian Beers, said: “We are pleased to have
selected Ditone as one of our approved suppliers. Ditone has
understood our needs for cost-effective solutions and timely supply.

“The company’s creative expertise, diverse range of label products
and cutting edge printing technology has opened our eyes to
raising the profile of our drinks further. We have been impressed
too with the Company’s dedicated customer service and will be
working with Ditone on our next range of drinks, Rum 69. I will
also be recommending Ditone to our partners and associates.”
Meridian Beers has been trading for six years from Merseyside and
recently begun producing own brand products as well as project
managing other companies’ own label drinks. Island Drinks S.L. has
established itself as one of the premier drinks suppliers in Spain
aimed mainly at the tourist ‘hot spots’ such as Ibiza and the
Costa del Sol.
