Ditone’s highly successful printing of sachet laminate has been enhanced even further with the introduction of ‘under-surface’ printing for additional security and protection.

The new service expands the choice and flexibility available to customers from Ditone’s Gallus RCS press which is acknowledged as the most advanced of its kind in the world.

Under-surface printing has been introduced at the Cambridgeshire-based company following the success of Ditone’s high quality, short to medium run, laminate printing service. The quality of the finished work has brought in a flood of new customers, reports Ditone MD David Stevenson.

“We are experiencing a rush of new business from customers who have failed up to now to find a company which can offer short to medium runs while maintaining the high standard of finish they require.

“We have significantly reduced lead-times, brought down costs and print only the volume of material that the customer needs. With the addition of ‘under-surface’ printing, we have expanded our services even further. A recent new customer couldn’t believe the quality we achieved but their smile broadened even wider when we said our origination costs were one tenth of those quoted by gravure - and the order was delivered in just ten days!”
