Ditone, which worked recently with Remploy on innovative new label
designs for Only Natural Crème and Foam Bath products to improve
their market image, is now producing the range¹s high impact new
look.
Managing Director of Ditone, David Stevenson, said: “We've
achieved maximum shelf impact for the Only Natural range by
managing this project from label concept to final production and
throughout we have worked closely with Remploy’s designers to
advise on materials and print processes. Ditone has improved the
quality of the Only Natural labels by using screen and letterpress
printing on synthetic materials.”
Remploy is investing heavily in its Only Natural brand and the
range includes Showergel, Skin Care, Baby Care, Hair Gel, Bubble
Bath, Shampoo, Conditioner, Intensive Lotion and Cocoa Butter.
Only Natural Brand Manager, Anita Kirkland, added: “Ditone has
been the perfect company for our business needs, producing a much
more stylish and contemporary image for our brand. The quality of
their labels, level of service and communication skills are first
class.”
Based at Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire, Ditone has built up a
national reputation for innovation and has recently launched a
whole new range of speciality label products. These include
holographic finish, crystal labels, multi-page leaflet labels,
credit card labels and braille and moon printing to assist the
visually impaired.

Ditone
can offer a variety of print processes for both long and short
runs, including flexo and UV flexo, rotary and semi-rotary
letterpress, as well as in-line screen, foil blocking and variable
information printing and the company has additional
state-of-the-art presses on order.
The Company has its own design studio dedicated to - and
specialising in - label design and reproduction.
Remploy’s
mission is to expand the opportunities for disabled people in
sustainable work both within the company and externally. It was
initially set up in 1946 by the Government to provide employment
for people severely disabled in the Second World War.
Today there are 88 factories across the UK, employing 8,000
disabled staff. The new Remploy 21 initiative to restructure the
business units within the company has been implemented to ensure
that Remploy can train its workforce in modern and efficient
factories and provide them with opportunities in outside
industries.
