Ditone, Europe’s most
progressive label manufacturer, has become one of just a handful of
companies in its sector to achieve the highest international
standard for packaging pharmaceutical materials.
The PS9000:2001 standard for
Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials is the first of a new type of
code of practice and applies ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9004: 2000 to
pharmaceutical printed and contact packaging materials.
Ditone Labels new Quality
Systems Manager, Gavin Johnson, said: “We are really delighted to
have achieved this important accreditation, which gives us the
competitive advantage over the majority of label suppliers and has
already increased significantly the number of enquiries we have
received from potential pharmaceutical customers.
"The Standard will also give our customers
continued confidence that medicines are packaged to a consistent
high level of quality.”
