An innovative new multi-lingual label produced by Ditone
Labels is helping a sales drive by G.Costa the expanding fine foods company
to bring more Indian food to the tables of Europe.
Ditone Labels has re-developed and enhanced the tamper-evident label, incorporating its
peel and reveal technology,
to show recipes in three languages for a new range of products from The Curry Club brand,
owned by G.Costa. Three separate pages are hinged at different places around the
circumference of the label to allow access to each language.
Business Development Manager at Ditone Labels, Andrew Wright, said:
"It was particularly rewarding to work with G.Costa on such an innovative project and
we believe this technology is a unique use of the tamper evident label. G.Costa is keen to
attract new business from the as yet untapped markets across the Continent and we were
contacted to develop a multi-lingual label which would encourage consumers to be more
adventurous with cooking Indian food at home."
The label is one of nine being produced by Ditone Labels and features traditional
Indian designs incorporating Indian stamps and a rich tapestry design. |

Brand Manager, Sarah Middleton, from G.Costa, said: We are very pleased
with the superb job that Ditone Labels has done in producing this unique label for us.
Indian food is already the most popular form of cuisine in the UK and we are hoping to
extend this trend to the rest of Europe." |
