Lucy Leads Marketing Initiative at The Boxes Group

The Boxes Group has appointed Lucy Rose to head up a new initiative to raise customer awareness of the Company’s six manufacturing plants as a single operation offering a complementary range of packaging products.

Lucy, who is based at the Group’s Ditone Labels division near Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire, said: "Boxes’ six plants are highly regarded throughout the packaging industry for their separate specialist expertise and I am looking forward to further developing our potential business by promoting the Group as a single operation where all the customers’ packaging needs can be met."

Group resources include award winning design studios, full reprographics facilities, complex carton manufacturing, innovative label technology and in-line screen printing.

Ditone Labels Managing Director, David Stevenson, said "Lucy’s appointment enables us to further concentrate on letting people know the wide range of complementary packaging that The Boxes Group produces and that we are a real alternative."

The Group was established in 1928, employs more than 500 people and has a turnover of over £35m. The Company serves many industries but typically includes pharmaceutical, confectionery, food, household, cosmetics, toiletries, automotive and glassware.

Parent company, the 513m euro turnover Clondalkin Group, operates across the US and Europe with over 50 subsidiaries. More than 3,500 people are employed by Clondalkin.
