The Manchester-based company says
export sales have risen by 20 per cent since Concept Chemicals started
using the new leaflet labels printed in the language of the country in
which the products are sold.
Concept Chemicals MD, David Stockfis, said: "We export to 30
countries which used to mean producing labels in 20 different
languages in-house. The sheer volume of world-wide demand following
the British Design Council Award of Millennium Product status for our
Surf-ACE compounds required us to take a radical new approach."
Ditone and Concept worked together to design six versions of the
Extensia leaflet label which is manufactured in gloss white
polypropylene with permanent adhesive and laminated with 23 micron
polyester. The leaflet is made from 70g matt paper, folded four times
and carries fully comprehensive product information.
Mr Stockfis added: "Although only in production for a short
while, the new labels have already been a huge success and have
generated even greater interest in our products. The extra amount of
user information that can now be carried not only creates confidence
but also lends an air of authority that could not be conveyed on a
flat label."

The Surf-ACE
range is a world-first, innovative one-step polishing system for
complete removal of paintwork scratches and has set new standards in
both OEM and aftermarket paintshop refinishing.
David Stevenson, MD of Ditone Labels, said: "With the advent of
the new Chemicals Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply
Regulations being implemented this Spring, chemical companies are
required to include much more information on their labels and
Extensia is the perfect solution for this.
"Not only are we very excited about this label but about the
whole range of Extensia leaflet labels - and indeed, all of our new
and innovative products."
