Baco’s unique Wax
Paper Rainbow Bags, in packs of 30 and in five colours,
come with a selection of assorted fun stickers to seal the
contents. The
bags are designed to appeal to school children and mothers alike.
Boxes GH has co-ordinated the project which
involved three of the Group’s
manufacturing sites. In addition to the carton profile design and
production, The Boxes Group was also able to offer packing
fulfilment at its
Great Harwood site.
The design brief of the pack required the coloured bags to be
dispensed
individually and the carton to be re-closed for easy and hygienic
storage.
Boxes GH, specialising in carton manufacturing for the FMCG
markets,
co-ordinated the profile design of the Rainbow Bag carton using a
concora
cutting method, allowing the packs to be easily opened and
re-closed without
the problem of burst perforations on-shelf in store. The cartons
were
printed at Boxes GH using six colour print and a high gloss UV
varnish on
450um White Lined Chipboard.
Ditone Labels, the Group’s labels division printed the
stickers which seal
and re-seal the wax bags several times. Each sheet of labels
features 30
individual designs in a four colour process with varnish. Boxes
Imaging
handled the reprographics.
The bags & stickers were packed by Boxes GH prior to shipment
to Baco
Consumer Products at Amersham.
Allen
Jerman, Boxes Group Chief
Executive, said: “This is an example of a
number of Boxes Group companies working together to offer our
customer an
integrated packaging service from design, repro, to cartons,
labels and
fulfilment.” |
